What I Believe

The ideas behind the work

01

Curiosity and observation are the foundation to understanding your child.

02

One of the greatest skills we can develop as adults working with children is learning to respond rather than react.

03

Every child is unique and deserves to be seen as a whole person.

I'm so grateful you're here.

My Approach

Helping you feel steady in the everyday

My goal is to help you see your child for who they are, understand their development, and feel more confident supporting them through the infant and toddler years.

I offer practical, individualized guidance rooted in your child's unique needs and your family's everyday life. Together, we build skills — for both you and your child — while helping you become a steady, confident presence they (and you!) can rely on.

The Classroom Years

Learning by watching closely

I've been working with children and families in a variety of settings for over 15 years, and much of my work has centered around the earliest years of life. I trained at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies and earned my MACTE-accredited Infant and Toddler credential.

My years in the toddler classroom gave me the incredible opportunity to observe young children closely — to see how they communicate, develop independence, explore (and respond to) boundaries, build relationships, and become more fully themselves.

A Shift in Focus

Supporting the adults who love them

Over time, I realized that some of the work I loved most happened alongside the adult caring for the child, not just the child themselves. I began to see how under-supported adults are through the early years of parenting — there's a real gap there. That's the issue I set out to address, and it shapes how I work: I bring the toddler's world to the parent, enveloping them in understanding it alongside their child.

Helping a parent understand why their toddler is doing something. Sitting together and observing before jumping in to fix. Talking through toileting, boundaries, transitions, routines, independence, and all of the wonderfully complicated parts of raising a tiny human.

Supporting the Parent, Too

Care for the whole family

My work has also taken me into the world of supporting parents themselves — as a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with additional training in prenatal and postnatal yoga, children's yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, postpartum doula care, and Reiki. I continue to study Human Development and Family Science, grounding this work in research even as it draws on practices that go beyond the traditional classroom.

As a postpartum doula, I supported mothers through the transition into motherhood with emotional support, nourishing food, movement, meditation, and space to simply be cared for. All of these experiences — research-based and intuitive alike — have shaped the way I work with families today.
